With just a few minutes of prep the night before, you can have a hearty, nutritious breakfast waiting for you in the morning rush. Apple cinnamon overnight oats are made by simply mixing together oats, milk, yogurt, applesauce, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a touch of sweetness, then letting it chill overnight. The result? Creamy, flavorful oats that’ll keep you powered up all day long.
Add the oats into a clean 8 oz wide mouth mason jar. Pour the milk over the oats, then add in the Greek yogurt, the applesauce, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
Cover and seal the jar and put into fridge for at least 12 hours and up to 5 days.
When you are ready to enjoy, be sure to give everything a good stir to make sure all ingredients are well incorporated. Add any additional toppings you may desire.
Notes
If you like your overnight oats a little bit creamier, add a bit more liquid. If you like them to have a bit of a bite, add a bit less.You can easily make multiple jars at a time, just double, triple or quadruple the recipe as needed.
