This brownie batter dip is a chocolate lover’s dream! Smooth, rich, and packed with fudgy flavor, it’s perfect for dipping cookies, fruit, or pretzels. Ready in minutes, it’s an effortless way to satisfy your sweet tooth or impress at your next gathering.
Heat treat your brownie mix by spreading the brownie mix out on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 350℉ for 5-7 minutes. Take out and let cool.
Then in a mixing bowl, add the butter and cream cheese and mix until light and fluffy.
Next, add in the brownie mix. Mix (slowly at first) until the brownie mix is completely combined with the butter/cream cheese mixture. The brownie batter dip will be thick at this point. Add milk to thin out the batter if desired.
Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy.
Notes
Everything at room temp: Getting the butter and cream cheese softened is key to getting everything light and fluffy before adding in the brownie mix.Substitutions: This dessert dip will work with almost any cake mix or brownie mix. You can make it gluten free by using a gluten free baking mix and dairy free by using a dairy free butter and a plant based cream cheese.Make Ahead: I like to make this dip ahead of time because it keeps well in the fridge for a few hours and up to 4 days. The best container for storage is a glass dish with an airtight lid. Press a layer of plastic wrap right onto the dip to ensure freshness.
