This cake batter dip is a party-ready treat that’s as fun to make as it is to eat! Packed with all the flavors of classic cake batter, it’s creamy, colorful, and perfect for pairing with cookies, crackers, or fruit. Whip it up in minutes for a sweet snack everyone will rave about.
Heat treat your cake mix. Then in a mixing bowl, add the butter and cream cheese and mix until light and fluffy.
Next, add in the cake mix. Mix (slowly at first) until the cake batter is completely combined with the butter cream cheese mix. The cake batter dip will be thick at this point.
Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy. Or pop into the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Notes
Thin out the dip: My goal is to have an animal cracker able to dip in and scoop out without breaking. If the cake batter dip is too thick, add a little milk slowly until you reach the desired density.Storage Tips: Make this dip ahead of time. It keeps well in the fridge for up to 4 days. The best container for storage is a glass dish with an airtight lid.
