April Update and Passover Menu Plan

Modified: Jan 25, 2025 · Published: Apr 1, 2020 by Marni Katz · This post may contain affiliate links ·

So things are a bit different this month, huh? I’m not going to go into depth on the craziness that is our world right now. If you've been here a while, you'll know that I normally share a month long meal plan at the beginning of the month, but

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, HERE’S WHAT’S NEW ON THE BLOG.

These are great recipes to make while you are at home for the next chunk of weeks.

We love noshing on the granola and feel good about giving it to the kids for a snack.

Also, these snap peas are great with some of the carb heavy meals we have been eating and an easy method for cooking many types of veggies!

Menu planning? I’m easing up this month.

Things are changing so quickly right now, and everyone has different access to groceries available, so I’m not going to share a full menu plan. Given the differences at all of our grocery stores and how we are shopping these days, I don’t want to share with you something that's unrealistic.

I’m still making a meal plan to keep us organized, but doing it week by week instead of montly based on what’s in our pantry and what we find at the grocery store (we are only going every two weeks or so). I’m happy to share each week, just send me an email and I’ll let you know what we are eating!

Spring Holidays are almost here!

Passover is quickly approaching which also changes the way we eat in our family. I've created a Passover menu plan that we will use for the week. If it's not a holiday you celebrate, you might still find it helpful. I've kept it simple and tried to re-purpose meals a few times as well. As always, please let me know if you need any recipes or have any questions on it!

I know Easter is also almost here and while (in full transparency), I don’t know much about traditional Easter foods, I do know about simple yummy foods that feel special without much work. Let me know if you need some help brainstorming a menu for your family with what you have available.
