A rich, creamy Thai red curry sauce made with just 3 Trader Joe’s ingredients in 5 minutes. One secret ingredient, Soy Vay Soyaki, balances the spice and makes the whole sauce family-friendly. Makes about 3 cups, enough for Thai red curry udon noodles, Thai red curry salmon, and more.
Add all three ingredients to a pot over medium heat. Whisk until fully combined.
Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Use immediately or store in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 10 days.

Full-fat coconut milk only: Light coconut milk makes the sauce thin and watery.Don’t substitute the Soyaki: Plain soy sauce adds salt but doesn’t create the same sweet-savory balance that makes this sauce family-friendly. The brand name in other grocery stores is Soy-Vay which is a one-to-one substitution.Coconut milk separation: If your can has separated, just pour it all in and whisk it well, it comes together immediately.Want less spice: Use about ¾ of the curry sauce bottle and increase the coconut milk and Soyaki slightly.
