2eggs
½cupoil
4dropsfood coloring(gel or liquid will work)
1cuppowdered sugar(for rolling the dough in)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, add the white cake mix, the eggs and the oil. Mix a few times and then add in the green food coloring to your desired color. Stir again just until you can’t see any more dry cake mix, being careful not to overmix.
Using a cookie scoop, scoop the cookie dough into balls, then roll in the powdered sugar before putting onto your prepared baking tray. Leave about 2” between dough balls. Place one red m&m or heart shaped sprinkle on each ball of dough.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until you see cracks on the top of the cookies, being careful not to overbake them.
Remove from the baking tray and let cool.
Notes
Food Coloring: Start with a few drops of green food coloring and then add more if need be. It’s easier to add to more than to try to tone the color down. Freezing Instructions: You can either freeze the cookie dough balls before baking, or bake the cookies as directed and freeze them already baked. They will last in the freezer for up to 2 months.
