Melt 2 TB of butter in the pan with the garlic over medium heat. Let cook until fragrant but not browning (about 1 minute)
Add remaining butter and the salt to the pan and whisk while cooking over medium low heat until the butter is completely melted.
Take off heat and use immediately.

Storage Tip: Pour the garlic butter sauce into an airtight container and keep in the fridge for up to a week. When you are ready to use it, just melt it on the stovetop in a small saucepan or in the microwave for about 30 seconds.Using frozen garlic cubes will give you the best flavor throughout the garlic sauce, however fresh garlic works great too, just make sure it's minced well.
