With just a few simple ingredients and a little prep the night before, you can treat yourself (and your family) to a breakfast that tastes like dessert but is secretly good for them. Make the Cinnamon Roll Overnight Oats by simply mixing oats, milk, yogurt, cinnamon, and brown sugar together, then let it chill overnight. Wake up to a jar of pure morning magic. It’s like having your cinnamon roll and eating it too!
Measure the oats in a clean 8oz wide mouth mason jar. Pour the milk over the oats. Then top with greek yogurt, brown sugar and cinnamon.
Make the Swirl Topping
In a small dish, mix together the yogurt and powdered sugar. Put into a small zip top bag, snip off the corner and then pipe onto the overnight oats.
Seal the Jars, Store and Enjoy!
Cover and seal jar and put in fridge for at least 12 hours or up to 5 days.
When you are ready to, stir all the ingredients together, add you toppings and enjoy!
Notes
Containers: I like using wide mouth mason jars for storing overnight oats, but any container with a lid that seals will work. Weck Jars are great as are deli containers if you are on the go.
Storage tip: Cinnamon Roll overnight oats store well in the fridge for up to 5 days. Perfect to make ahead so you can grab and go in the morning.
Big Batch Oats: Double, triple or even quadruple the recipe by mixing all the ingredients in a large bowl and then portioning into the jars to rest overnight.
