Coffee Cake with Strawberry Jam

This is a great dessert for brunch, tea time or even after dinner. You can make it easily with pantry staples!

Greek Yogurt | Sugar Baking Soda | Butter Baking Powder | Flour Brown Sugar | Vanilla Strawberry Jam | Eggs Cinnamon | Rolled Oats

Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl cream together the butter and sugar, then add the remaining ingredients (except the strawberry jam) to the bowl and mix until combined.

Step 1

Spread half of the batter mixture in the baking pan. Spread jam onto batter in the pan in an even layer.

Step 2

Cover with remaining half of batter, doing your best to spread evenly over the top.

Step 3

Make the streusel, by combining all the ingredients in a small bowl. Then sprinkle the streusel over the cake evenly before baking for 45-50 min.

Step 4

This is a super thick batter.  You may need to use your fingers to spread the batter evenly.  I like to get my hand damp and then work the batter into the corners.
