In a large bowl using a hand mixer, combine the sugars and butter until light and fluffy

Add salt, baking soda, and vanilla and mix well. Then add in the eggs and mix again.

Stir in the vegetable oil using a wooden spoon, then fold in the chocolate chips.

Use a small cookie scoop to evenly scoop out the batter, flatten it in your hand, and place around a baking sheet.

Step 4

Bake the cookies until golden brown. Then allow to cool for 5 minutes before moving to a cooling rack.
