30-minutes, only 4-ingredients and you’ll be transported to the bustling streets of Rome!  This cacio e pepe pizza is an ode to the popular Roman pasta dish, cacio e pepe and couldn’t be easier to make!

Pizza Dough Parmesan Cheese Pecorino Cheese Black Pepper Olive Oil Crushed Ice


Split the pizza dough in half and roll out each half. Then sprinkle the crushed ice over the top of the dough.

Step 1

Grate the cheeses and combine them and black pepper together in a small bowl.

Step 2

Bake the pizza dough until browned on the edges. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle on the cheese mixture and olive oil.

Step 3

It's always best to freshly grate your cheese.  Pre-grated cheese typically has anti-caking agents, and can impede proper melting.
